Dress comfortably when you come for your appointment, we request that male clients should wear close fitting boxer shorts/running shorts and female clients wear comfortable underwear. Normal bras are preferable to sports bras as they are easier to work around.
Yes. Towels are provided for your comfort and discretion. The therapist will leave the room whilst you undress; as appropriate to your chosen therapy, and make yourself comfortable. A covered box is provided for your clothing/belongings.
Only shoes and socks/tights need to be removed for reflexology.
Simply remove spectacles/jewellery/watch for seated acupressure massage.
Once the session is finished, the therapist will leave the room and allow you time to dress.
Yes., if deemed necessary. Following government guidance ( living safely with with respiratory infections, including coronavirus (COVID-19) ) and professional advice from STA and FHT; disposable, single use face masks will be worn if a client is deemed to be a higher risk of a becoming severely ill with Covid-19. Effective hand hygiene is routinely performed between all clients . The therapy room is cleaned , linen replaced and ventilated between clients.
The massage couch currently in use has a maximum working weight of up to : 396lbs/180kg/28 stone .
The seated massage chair has a maximum working weight of: 450lbs/204kg/31 stone
